Commercial Mass-Market Approach
Strict adult weight limit of 1.5 kg to 3.5 kg. The dog is guaranteed to stay small and proportionate, with short straight legs, a short button nose, big eyes, and that exact adorable teddy-bear look.
Matings without selection control for the sake of sales volume. The adult dog often outgrows the standard, reaching up to 5–6 kg. The iconic cute doll-like look is lost: the legs and nose become elongated, and the buyer receives a regular, large hybrid at a premium price.
Many Poodles and Maltipoos from commercial mass-market kennels are highly impulsive, unmanageable, and prone to constant tantrums because no one managed their genetics. Our approach is strict: if a dog shows the slightest mental instability, it is immediately excluded from breeding. We pair our dogs so that our puppies grow up to be perfectly well-behaved, affectionate, and intelligent. This aligns with both our professional vision and the high expectations of the people who choose us.
When we entered the Maltipoo breeding scene, we strictly refused to use standard Russian-type Poodles. We were determined to achieve an extreme, adorable "baby-face" appearance. To make this happen, we purchased a unique Teddy Poodle stud from China valued at over €6,000. We completely rejected the practice of random matings. Our stud was chosen based on the most demanding aesthetic criteria: huge eyes, an ultra-short button nose, short straight legs, a straight back, and mandatory international genetic testing for bloodline purity. Our Maltese and Chinese Bichon dams underwent the exact same rigorous selection with full genetic panels.
Our pride at the world’s largest canine event — the WORLD DOG SHOW Moscow. Pictured here is Emily Fast for YUDGELIS, a legendary graduate of our kennel, during her triumphant performance in the main ring. The Yudgelis appearance became highly recognized not only in Russia but also across Europe and America. Our kennel received a massive surge of international inquiries, and we began shipping puppies worldwide on a large scale.
Our show-dog background has taught us to control every single millimeter — from the angles of the hind legs to the silky structure of the coat. We don't do mass-market dog manufacturing; we create living art.
We learned from leading canine experts and for years won first-place awards at certified RKF/FCI dog shows.
Our journey began over 20 years ago with strict classical canine science. Purebred Yorkshire Terriers formed our first foundation. Later, we were the first to introduce rare colored lineages: Biewer Terriers, Biro Terriers, as well as chocolate and black Yorkshire Terriers.
Even when "standard" size puppies are born at YUDGELIS, they grow up to be 2–3 times smaller than the dogs from our competitors!
Buying a Maltipoo today is a lottery. Large commercial kennels have turned the breed into a mass market business for the sake of sales volume. The result of these random matings is long-legged dogs with elongated, fox-like faces weighing nearly 5 kg. You end up paying €4800 (400,000 rub) for marketing and a bloated franchise brand, but you receive an unpredictable adult appearance. At YUDGELIS, the doll-like exterior of your adult dog is guaranteed by professional experience.
